The

FILLMORE EAST Band

A TRIBUTE TO THE CHURCH OF ROCK AND ROLL

The Fillmore East Band

The FILLMORE EAST Band is a classic rock band based in Akron and playing the NE Ohio area in tribute to rock promoter Bill Graham's venue that was located in the Lower East Side of New York City. It was open from March 8, 1968 to June 27, 1971 and was quickly dubbed "The Church of Rock and Roll". It featured some of the biggest acts in rock music at the time. A psychedelic liquid light show was an integral part of most performances.

The FILLMORE EAST Band brings back the spirit of this iconic venue and  features, where possible, an authentic 70's style liquid light show.

The AQUARIUS LIGHT SHOW, using a blend of traditional materials, (oil and water based dyes, glycerine, mineral oil, water, etc.), and some new technology...plus a little magic, is keeping alive the art of liquid light.

The FILLMORE EAST Band performs era correct songs by such greats as:

The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Allman Brothers, The Who, James Gang, Pink Floyd, Steppenwolf, Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Alice Cooper, Grand Funk, The Guess Who, Faces, Jeff Beck Group, Savoy Brown, Ten Years After, Procol Harem...and many more.

The FILLMORE EAST Band is unlike any band you've ever seen before. It's a show that thrills the senses with both sight and sound, and is an experience that won't be soon forgotten. Enjoy the classic rock that takes you on journey to the place where the iconic bands were born and the legends were made.
